JewCE! The Jewish Comics Experience Returns For Year Two With Chris Claremont, More

Jewce convention

JewCE!, the Jewish Comics Experience, a one-day convention focusing on Jewish comic book creators and guests, is returning for a second year. The now annual convention will take place at the Center for Jewish History on Sunday, November 10. And they’ve got a packed guest lineup that includes Chris Claremont, Paul Levitz, and many more.

“In its second year, JewCE is more than just a superpowered celebration of Jewish comics and culture—it’s a beacon of resilience and unity. With the troubling rise in antisemitism, it’s never been more crucial to tell our stories. Comics have always been a medium for the underdog, and JewCE showcases the triumph of Jewish creativity over adversity,” said Dr. Gavriel Rosenfeld, President of the Center for Jewish History, via a press release provided to Comic Book Club.

Beyond Levitz and Claremont, this year’s guest lineup includes Ben and Max Berkowitz, Jenette Kahn, Alisa Kwitney, Dean Haspiel, and Danny Fingeroth. And JewCE will have the requisite con activities, including panel discussions, an artist alley, an exhibit hall, and family-friendly activities.

Tickets are free for kids ages 12 and under, and not too expensive for those of us older than 12, as well. You can check out the full guest lineup and info at jewce.org.
