Looks like the chimichangas are on Fandango… Deadpool & Wolverine has broken the record for the best first-day seller of 2024 on Fandango at Home.
“It is no surprise that Deadpool & Wolverine continues to smash records across Fandango services well after its initial theatrical release in July,” said Cameron Douglas, SVP of Home Entertainment at Fandango via a press release provided to Comic Book Club. “We are thrilled to see so many fans rushing to relive the excitement that Deadpool & Wolverine gave us, in the comfort of their homes.”
The movie is now available to buy for $29.99 and rent for $24.99, as of yesterday, October 1. And it’s far from all the notable accomplishments the third Deadpool movie has achieved. Per PR from the company, it broke “Fandango’s record for the most opening weekend ticket sales of all time for an R-rated title, as well as the record for the best opening weekend ticket sales of 2024.” And the movie is Certified Fresh on the Tomatometer. AND Verified Hot on the Popcornmeter on Rotten Tomatoes (which is owned by Fandango).
In addition to buying and/or renting (I guess you could do both if you really want to) Deadpool & Wolverine, Fandango is also offering a Deadpool 3-Movie Collection. That includes Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and every episode of The Golden Girls. Just kidding, it includes Deadpool & Wolverine as well, sorry Bea Arthur fans. The whole trilogy costs $49.99.
