Valiant‘s Resurgence event is resurging even harder than before, as Comic Book Club can exclusively reveal that the series will get an additional issue: Resurgence: Finale, which will drop in stores in January. Plus, we can also exclusively reveal your first look at the covers of Resurgence of the Valiant Universe #4.
“I’m thrilled to share that RESURGENCE #1 was our biggest launch of the year in the direct market,” said Alien Books Director Matias Timarchi via a statement provided to Comic Book Club. “With a story of this magnitude and with so many characters involved, we wanted the extra space for a big send-off issue, so we will be releasing a special RESURGENCE: FINALE issue in January.”
Resurgence of the Valiant Universe #1 is in stores today and brings together the entire Valiant Universe in a pitched battle against the villainous Dr. Silk. It’s pretty much everything the publisher has been building towards since Alien Books took over Valiant, and it promises to kick off a new era of the iconic superhero label.
Added Timarchi, “RESURGENCE: FINALE will set up the future of the Valiant Universe and our publishing plans for the next year.
