Alien: Romulus is spinning off into a new comic book, Alien: Romulus #1, from Marvel Comics. And we’ve got your first look at all the Xenomorph horror, below.
Written by Zac Thompson with art by Daniel Picciotto, the comic will tackle “one of the film’s lingering mysteries,” per a press release provided by Marvel.
“The Alien franchise is responsible for my lifelong love of body horror, so needless to say, I’m ecstatic to be contributing a small piece to the canon,” Thompson said. “Working with Fede Alvarez to craft a prequel to Alien: Romulus was a genuine dream come true and a responsibility I don’t take lightly. The result is a thrilling, terrifying story that slowly gestates into something wholly unpredictable.”
In the unlettered preview pages below, you’ll get a glimpse at “the tragedy that occurred on the space station Renaissance before Rain, Andy, and their crew had their own terrifying encounter there,” says Marvel. Check it all out, below.
