Gilt Frame, from Dark Horse Comics, is an idiosyncratic and involving mystery series. It comes from the mother/son team of Margie Kraft Kindt and Matt Kindt, which is neat. And it looks like Gilt Frame #2 won’t miss a beat, based on Comic Book Club’s exclusive preview of the issue.
In the pages, picking up from the end of the last issue with a murder victim discovered, the French police — led by Inspector Vailant — are on the case. And while most of the pages have already popped up online, the final two are a classic cross-section from Matt Kindt, an overview of the crime scene rendered in loving detail.
Check out the full preview below! And get on board now with the creative and fun mystery series which seems to mostly be about collecting chairs, a thing we can all relate to.
