AMC Takes Over NYCC 2024 With ‘Walking Dead,’ ‘Mayfair Witches,’ And More

Lauren Cohan on The Walking Dead Dead City

AMC is taking over this year’s New York Comic Con (NYCC 2024) with panels, screenings, and more. And yep, that means the iconic The Walking Dead block is coming back again, featuring Dead City and Daryl Dixon.

First up is Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, which has been tearing up the charts on Netflix. In the Thursday panel, the AMC and AMC+ series will tease Season 2 with a screening of the season premiere episode. I guess that’s less of a tease than “playing all the cards” or whatever is not a mixed metaphor. But there you go, that’s happening, followed by a Q&A with EPs and cast-members.

But enough about witches! Let’s talk zombies! On Friday, October 16, AMC will hold back-to-back panels for Dead City Season 2, and Daryl Dixon Season 3. While you will get to see some footage from Dead City, and presumably some from Daryl Dixon — which will be mid-season at that point — you’re probably not getting full episodes here. However, you will get TWD Universe head Scott Gimple. Repping Dead City is showrunner Eli Jorné, star and EP Lauren Cohan, and cast members Gaius Charles and Dascha Polanco. On the Daryl Dixon side, Showrunner and Executive Producer David Zabel, Executive Producer and Director Greg Nicotero,Executive Producer and Director Dan Percival; Executive Producer and star Norman Reedus, Executive Producer and star Melissa McBride and cast member Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.

There are plenty more AMC panels, though, so check out the full schedule and rundown per a press release from the network, below.
