Def Leppard Graphic Novel Hysteria Is Getting A Zero Issue:
In a surprise move, the upcoming Def Leppard graphic novel Hysteria is getting a zero issue. Which is sort of like when they teased Rise of Skywalker in Fortnite, but maybe not actually like that at all.
Per AIPT, the zero issue will be written by Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen and Eliot Rahal, with art by Alex Schlitz. Said Collen, “Blending music and comics together like this is an incredible and insane dream, and I could not be more thrilled by the work Eliot, Alex, and Vault have put into Hysteria. It has been a joy and one hell of a ride. I know fans are going to love it.”
The graphic novel itself is about Foz, the frontwoman of indie band Darkside, who inherits a magic guitar. After it’s stolen, she has to get it back in time to open for — you guessed it — Def Leppard.
The zero issue will also come in a hyper-limited foil variant edition signed by Collen limited to 200 copies. It will hit stores on October 16, while the graphic novel is scheduled to be released by Vault on November 30.
Web Of Spider-Man Collected In New Omnibus:
Now here’s what you’re cravin’: a massive omnibus from Marvel collecting every issue of Web of Spider-Man — and throwing in the Kraven’s Last Hunt crossover issues from Amazing Spider-Man and Spectacular Spider-Man.
Clocking in at 1128 pages, per ICv2, the omnibus will collect all 34 issues of Web of Spider-Man plus three annuals, including stories by Louise Simonson, Danny Fingeroth, Peter David, David Michelinie, and a slew of other creators.
However, the crown jewel of the collection is J. M. DeMatteis and Mike Zeck’s 1987 crossover classic, which found Kraven killing Spider-Man — temporarily — and taking over his identity. While the storyline has been collected numerous times, interestingly the omnibus won’t just include all six issues across three titles, it will also include the issues of Amazing and Spectacular right after the crossover, presumably to show off some of the fallout from the storyline.
The omnibus will cost $125, and be released on March 19, 2025. Which is a few months after Kraven the Hunter hits theaters, but let’s be honest, it’ll definitely be streaming by then.
Final Volume Of Richard Corben’s Den Gets A Release Date:
Dark Horse Books has been working their way through the works of Richard Corben. And now they’re ready to close the book on one part of the classic creators’ library: Den Volume 5: The Price of Memories will be the final book in the fantasy series.
The volume focuses on the title character, Den, as he encounters a woman named Sienna who takes him on a journey through his own memory, from birth to possible death.
The new printing has been remastered with restored illustrations by José Villarrubia, and new lettering by Nate Piekos. It will come in a hardcover edition of the out-of-print story, as well as bonus material and a new introduction by Christos Gage.
Den Volume 5: The Price of Memories will be available in bookstores on February 11, 2025 and in comic shops on February 12, 2025.
