We’re just a little over two weeks out from the premiere of Agatha All Along on Disney+, as of this writing. And with the MCU show about to cast a spell on the world, Marvel Studios is revealing a whole lot more about the witches in the cast of the series.
The new(ish) info comes via a payoff poster for the series showing off Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) with the full cast, and a featurette titled “Meet The Witches” posted on YouTube. We’ll put both of these items below for your personal perusal. But first, let’s break down what info we’ve got from these SPOOKY marketing materials.
Joe Locke As “Teen”
Joe Locke’s character continues to be referred to as “Teen” — with the credit even put in quotes — despite anyone in their right mind knowing that he’s most likely Billy Maximoff, the now-grown son of Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen).
Patti LuPone As Lilia Calderu
Next up is Lilia Calderu, whose power is divination, played by Broadway legend Patti LuPone. “I have flashes of sight, vision,” LuPone explains of her character.
Ali Ahn As Alice Wu-Gulliver
Then we’ve got Alice Wu-Gulliver, a “protection witch” who will help keep the coven safe while they go on their mission to travel the Witches’ Road. “She’s getting in touch with her power that’s been lying dormant for a long time,” Ahn explains.
Sasheer Zamata As Jennifer Kale
Jennifer Kale, played by Sasheer Zamata, is in charge of potions — a witch staple if there ever was one. Says Zamata, “Her magic comes from chemistry and alchemy… Jennifer’s really sarcastic.”
Debra Jo Rupp As Mrs. Hart
Returning from WandaVision is Debra Jo Rupp as Mrs. Hart. Formerly under Wanda’s spell, she seemingly gets tricked into joining the coven because they need a Green Witch. Mrs. Hart is seen working in the garden, so… I guess that fills the bill?
Aubrey Plaza As Rio Vidal
“They just think I’m some kind of bad-a**,” Plaza says of her mystery character Rio Vidal. Smart money she’s the villain of the series, as it looks like she pops up on the Witches’ Road without being asked by Agatha. But TBD, of course.
