A new promo for Agatha All Along has hit online, and it’s amping up one of the show’s biggest mysteries: who is Joe Locke playing in the Disney+ series? And is he really “Teen” as we’re supposed to believe?
In the minute-long promo, we get a bit more about the plot of the series. At the end of WandaVision, Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) was trapped in Westview by Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), stuck in her sitcom days. While Wanda seemingly died in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, a new character — Teen, played by Joe Locke — frees Agatha from the spell. The reason? She’s the only witch who has survived The Witches’ Road.
The key scene in the trailer occurs about 20 seconds in, when Agatha asks Locke’s character who he is. “I’m–” says the character credited as “Teen” even in the closed captions, before squiggles cover his mouth, the words obscured. “Interesting,” says Agatha.
After that, we see scenes from throughout the upcoming series, as Agatha gathers her coven and travels the Witches’ Road to regain her power. However, this promo certainly teases a big mystery about Locke’s identity. He’s not simply “Teen,” that’s clearly what they call him in lieu of another name.
We’ve already speculated quite a bit about this, but that squiggle sure looks like an upside-down “W” doesn’t it? Which could stand for Wanda Maximoff. Or, it could stand for William, aka Billy Maximoff, aka the Young Avengers character known as Wiccan. Which, now that we think of it, also starts with “W.”
So is that what’s going on here? Is Joe Locke’s “Teen” really Billy Maximoff, kept safe by a spell from Wanda? Or is he someone else? After all, an upside-down “W” is also an “M.” And M stands for… Mephisto. Watch the trailer below, and speculate along with us.

Agatha All Along Premiere Dates And Episode Guide:
The first two episodes of Agatha All Along premiere September 18 at 6 pm PT / 9 pm ET on Disney+. It will most likely stream weekly episodes after that, though the exact schedule is TBA.
However, based on previous Disney+ releases it’s fair to speculate that after the two-episode premiere, one episode a week will be released through the finale. There are expected to be nine episodes, in total.
