Skybound Comet, the YA-focused graphic novel imprint, has announced several volumes in its 2025 slate. Those include Clementine Book Three, Family Force V, and Pizza Witch.
“Skybound is home to some of the most exciting voices in comics and our 2025 Skybound Comet line-up is no exception,” said Alex Antone, Editorial Director at Skybound via a press release provided to Comic Book Club. “We can’t wait for young readers to fall in love with Moon Trooper Maise and Roxy the Pizza Witch, just like they fell in love with Ava (Ava’s Demon), Wix (Scurry), and of course, Clementine.”
Clementine Book Three is the big one, bringing writer/artist Tillie Walden’s spinoff from The Walking Dead to a close. In the new volume, per the release, “Clementine finally has it all–a safe place to live, a girlfriend, and even a cat…but nothing lasts forever. And when Clementine suffers a loss unlike anything she’s ever faced, a new mentor called The Gardener offers her a new family, and a new way of living… but at what cost?”
Said Walden, “Clementine Book 3 is one of the darkest and most interesting stories I’ve ever written. I’m so excited for everyone to be able to be with Clementine as her story comes to a close!”
Clementine Book Three is scheduled to be released in June of 2025, and you can check out the cover here:
Next up is Family Force V from writer Matt Braly and artist Ainsworth Lin, which hits in May 2025. Per the title, it focuses on a family of kaiju fighters, and in particular teen Maisie who is trying to balance school, impressing a crush, and fighting aliens. That’s when tragedy strikes, and she needs to figure out who she will become.
“FFV is an exploration of grief, responsibility, and identity all wrapped up in a loving homage to one of my favorite genres,” said Braly. “I’m absolutely thrilled to be releasing this book with Skybound Comet and can’t wait for readers to meet Maise and her family.”
Added Lin, “Demon aliens, animesque butt-kicking action, and cringy teenage antics all wrapped around a squishy heartfelt center. Just a great time all around!”

Finally, there’s Pizza Witch by Sarah Graley and Stef Pureins, which is coming to stores in September of 2025. The delightfully titled book focuses on a girl named Roxy who wants to become the best Pizza Witch ever — when she discovers her boss has been getting her ready for a magic Pizza Artifact quest. Along with her black cat familiar George, Roxy tries to tackle the Pizza Magic quest, and maybe finds romance along the way.
“We can’t wait for readers to meet Roxy! She’s a trainee witch with a big heart. She might not always take the easiest route to what she wants but she’s always ready to take the most interesting and chaotic one!” said Graley. “We’re excited to share the beginning of her journey!”
Added Purenins, “Pizza Witch is a story filled with all of our favorite things; magic, adventure and, of course, pizza! It’s also a story all about finding your own path and sticking with it, even when things get hard. Roxy might get knocked down, but she always finds a way to get back up.
