Marvel November 2024 Solicit Highlights::

It’s time once again to take a look three months into the future for Marvel’s solicits, where the publisher releases blurbs and covers to help spur sales for upcoming issues.

Let’s kick it off with the biggest one for me, personally. The Venom War wraps up in November, with two issues of the main series, teeing up the mystery of an all-new Venom. However, the most exciting news is that there’s going to be a one-shot tying into Venom War featuring Jeff, the land-shark. Titled Venom War: It’s Jeff #1, it will be written as usual by Kelly Thompson, with art by Gurihiru, and will contain an all-new story not previously released on Marvel’s digital platform. Neat!

Over to less personal things. Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness take over Spider-Man this month, and it seems like the “eight deaths of Spider-Man” storyline will indeed kill Peter Parker several times. West Coast Avengers kicks off with a redemption storyline for Ultron, from Gerry Duggan and Danny Kim. And Kahhori: Reshaper of Worlds brings the animated character into Marvel Comics proper with a Marvel Voices one-shot.

There are lots of X-Men books coming out in November, but the big new one is a Psylocke ongoing series from writer Alyssa Wong. In the Storm solo series, the title character is dying after a radiation incident. And X-Men #7 loops back to the first issue’s cliffhanger to show why there’s a frozen Sentinel in Alaska.

The Ultimate Universe is still going strong, with the reveal of a second Black Cat in Ultimate Spider-Man, and a big battle with the Hulk in Ultimates. Meanwhile, in another universe it seems enough time has passed by November’s Wolverine: Revenge #4 that we’re getting an Old Man Logan in that book.

Moving to young men, Miles Morales is still a vampire, but he’s also getting Vibranium armor in issue #25 of his eponymous series. Spider-Man: Reign II wraps up, though the synopsis doesn’t tease anything at all about the issue.

Not Spider-Man, but in Deadpool #8 we’ve got a brand new Deadpool: Wade’s daughter, Ellie. And Scarlet Witch gets a new trainee, Amaranth, in November’s issue of the series. And last but not least, Daredevil will battle his final demon in November, with the synopsis teasing they’re someone close to him, and they’re not on the cover. Spoiler, but Elektra is not on the cover, so…

For Comic Book Club News, I’m Alex Zalben. And seriously though, put Jeff in all the events. Thanks.
