New week, new comics! And there are a bunch of intriguing titles coming out for August 21, 2024, so let’s break down some of the highlights.
From Marvel, the biggest new title is probably Predator vs. Black Panther #1, which does what the title says it does. Predator vs. Wolverine was a huge hit, so we’ll see if the next title does the same. Meanwhile, Jonathan Hickman and Greg Capullo team up on Wolverine: Revenge, which looks like a blood good time.
DC’s big one? Jenny Sparks #1 by Tom King and Jeff Spokes, which brings the spirit of the 20th century from Wildstorm into the 21st, in DC. Absolute Power also continues, with tie-in issues in Superman and Wonder Woman. And Oni Press continues to get spoooky with Epitaphs from the Abyss #2.
Dynamite has a big week with new issues of Powerpuff Girls and ThunderCats.
