It might not be Clash at Demonhead, or even Sex Bob-Omb, but it’s the next best thing… Bryan Lee O’Malley is hitting the road for a multi-city tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Scott Pilgrim‘s Precious Little Life. Finally, you’ll be able to harass O’Malley about whether Scott Pilgrim is a good guy face-to-face, instead of just posting about it online.
“Everyone knows I hate leaving the house,” said O’Malley via a press release provided to Comic Book Club. “But I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get out and meet fans and celebrate the 20th anniversary together. I can’t get everywhere, but I tried to pick places I haven’t been in a while or have never been at all. I’m looking forward to it!”
The 12 Canadian and American tour dates are timed right after the release of the massive Scott Pilgrim 20th Anniversary Box Sets, which contain all volumes of the series, and a slew of extras. Those will be available on August 28 in both black and white and colored editions.
Also released before the tour is Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life Coloring Book, which includes all 168 pages of the original graphic novel, but now you don’t have to feel bad about scribbling in it with crayon. That will hit stores in September, along with Scott Pilgrim Print Collection 2004-2024, which includes high-quality art, classic images, and “randomly inserted, limited-edition sketch prints.”
