Jason Aaron is a busy guy. He’s got Namor running at Marvel. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for IDW. He seems to be ALL IN for DC Comics on a rumored upcoming project. And now he’s coming back to Conan the Barbarian with Heroic Signatures and Titan Comics’s upcoming Savage Sword of Conan #5.
Aaron previously wrote Conan when the license was with Marvel Comics, penning multiple issues of both a Conan the Barbarian series, and a follow-up King Conan series — both with artist Mahmud Asrar. The upcoming story arc will once again bring Aaron to the King Conan timeline for a two-part story teaming him with artist Geof Isherwood.
In addition, Michael Kogge and Dan Parsons will tackle a Young Conan tale. The fifth issue will also feature covers from Joe Jusko and Alex Horley.
The 64-page long black and white The Savage Sword of Conan #5 doesn’t hit stores until October 30, 2024, for $6.99. But you can get a look at the covers, below (and click for larger versions).
