Last year at San Diego Comic-Con, Oni Press entered a new era with some big announcements and a revamped release slate. And this year at SDCC 2024 it looks like things won’t be slowing down, with the launch of the revamped EC Comics line, some big celebrations for Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim, and much more.
We’ll post the full lineup of exclusives, panels, and signings per a press release provided to Comic Book Club, below. But first, a few highlights from the lineup. First and foremost, who doesn’t like a freebie? And Oni will be giving out a sweet one at their EC Comics panel: a copy of Epitaphs from the Abyss with a Richard Corben cover that pays tribute to Tales From The Crypt.
As for non-free swag, this is your chance to pick up the massive Scott Pilgrim 20th Anniversary box sets in person, and good luck carrying them around the con floor and not dying. There’s also an EC Comics logo shirt that should be a hot item, and a new Scott Pilgrim tote bag.
As for signings, pretty much everyone you’d expect will be there — including six signings from O’Malley. And panels-wise, you can check out one for EC Comics, one generally about Oni Press, and one… You’re not going to believe this… About Scott Pilgrim, featuring O’Malley. That guy: he is keeping busy.
