Coming to San Diego Comic-Con 2024? Then you’ll definitely want to come — er, go, actually — to the Alex Ross Art booth on the con floor, as the iconic artist is celebrating all things Kingdom Come. You see what I did there?
In honor of the classic 1996 comic book series, Ross’s booth is decked out with a life-size reproduction of art straight from the book. It’ll take up the full wall at the Alex Ross Art booth at SDCC (aka Booth #2415). And per PR provided to Comic Book Club, fans can stop by “for a special photo opp to pose with the iconic characters and share their photos on social media tagging @AlexRossArt and the official convention hashtag #SDCC2024.”
Not only that, but there will also be a panel for the recently announced Legend of Kingdom Come documentary, which is coming to Kickstarter later this year. While Ross himself is not currently announced as an attendee at the panel, writer Mark Waid, producer Sal Abbinanti, director and editor Remsy Atassi, and interview subjects Julie Benson and Shawna Benson will all be on hand to tease what to expect from the doc.
