Disney Entertainment Television has announced its plans for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC 2024), and oh boy: it’s a lot. Spanning 20th Television, 20th Television Animation, ABC, ABC Signature, Disney Branded Television, FX and Hulu, the conglomerate will release multiple activations, panels, and more to take over the con.
Perhaps the biggest show on display? Abbott Elementary, which will anchor the A.V.A. Fest (A Very Abbott Festival). It’s of course inspired by two episodes of the series and will include a ball pit, a swing ride, a chance to “dunk a white dude,” games, attractions, and more. Perhaps wildest of all, every hour there will be live performances by the official Philadelphia Eagles Drumline, as well as a festival playlist curated by Questlove. Ava (Janelle James) would be proud. The show will also have a panel Saturday of the con with cast and crew.
Other highlights include Hulu’s now annual Animayhem which will be located in the Hilton Bayfront’s parking lot, next to the convention center. It’ll feature titles like Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, Futurama, and The Simpsons. And yep, they’ll all have panels, too.
But in case you don’t say “yes, chef!” to cartoons, there’s also FX’s interactive experiences including a The Bear restaurant pop-up, and the FX Fearless Hellevator featuring It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and What We Do In The Shadows.
Read on for Disney’s full SDCC 2024 schedule, including Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Doctor Who, and so much more.
