New Comics This Week: Full Comics List For July 10, 2024

It’s a big new comics week for July 10, 2024, as the X-Men are back, even though they never left, and Minor Threats expands, too.

First up from Marvel, as cleverly teased in the intro, X-Men #1 kicks off the “From The Ashes” era. Will it kick ash? We’ll have to wait and see. Meanwhile, the Blood Hunt continues, and Silver Surfer gets the Giant-Size treatment.

Over at DC, the Absolute Power event expands with a villain-focused Task Force VII spinoff anthology miniseries. There are also tie-in issues of Green Lantern and… Well, that’s it, actually. That said, the most exciting book from the publisher this week is Action Comics #1067, which brings together Gail Simone and Eddy Barrows for a young Superman tale; and Rainbow Rowell and Cian Tormey for a Lois Lane story.

Dark Horse Comics continues to expand the Minor Threats universe with Barfly, co-written by Kyle Starks. IDW releases the excellent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 40th Anniversary Comics Celebration #1, spanning multiple eras of the Turtles. And Image spins off Chip Zdarsky’s Public Domain with an in-universe title, Domain #1.
