New Comics This Week: Full Comics List For July 3, 2024

new comics this week july 3 2024

The new comics this week are more exciting than ever, and that’s because we’re celebrating our independence… From DC Comics coming out on Tuesdays. That’s right: for the first time in years, all new comics are coming out on Wednesday! I just cried a little.

Turning to Marvel, there are a few big releases this week. First up is Spider-Man: Reign 2, the sequel to Kaare Andrews’ notorious The Dark Spider-Man Returns style series. But we’ve also got the surprise Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #0, which dropped in stores last week. And Wolverine: Deep Cut returns Chris Claremont to the Outback era.

Over at DC, which, I don’t know if I mentioned, comes out on Wednesday, we’re kicking off Absolute Power by Mark Waid and Dan Mora. Tying into that is Batman #150, and the world may learn Batman’s secret identity. Meanwhile, if you have kids don’t miss Batman and Robin and Howard: Summer Breakdown #1, the sequel to Jeffrey Brown’s hit graphic novel.

Other publishers are pretty light this week with the July 4th holiday, but there are still some highlights. Dynamite spins off ThunderCats: Cheetara into its own series. Image Comics has a big week with Free Agents, All the Things We Didn’t Do Last Night, and the return of Public Domain. And I’m personally excited for Oni Press’s Toxic Summer, which was an absolute delight in its debut last month.
