Batman, aka Bruce Wayne, was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. By day, he is a wealthy playboy. By night, he fights the scourge of the underworld, a non-stop, one-man war on crime that never ends. He’s also spawned a host of recognizable and iconic villains. Those include The Joker, Penguin, Clayface, Catwoman, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, and many, many more.
First introduced in Detective Comics #27 in 1939, Batman has gone on to be one of the most popular and recognizable characters in the world.
