The Riverdale 2×21 promo, teasing “Chapter Thirty-Four: Judgement Night” is here… And Riverdale is gonna burn. Like, literally be set on fire and maybe burn to the ground. Really.
Writers for the show have teased that the penultimate episode of Season 2 is the craziest one yet. And from the footage shown off in the trailer, they’re not wrong. At the end of “Chapter Thirty-Three: Shadow of a Doubt” *spoilers on* Fangs got shot by a mystery assailant. That set off a riot outside the police station, as bubbling tensions between the Southside and the Northside of Riverdale all came to a head.
Add in the returned Black Hood, who seemingly tried to assassinate Fred Andrews (Luke Perry) and/or Hermione Lodge (Marisol Nichols) during a mayoral debate, and you have a town ready to blow.
As they say on infomercials, that’s not all! You can check out the promo below, but:
– Reggie (Charles Melton) is being accused of shooting Fangs, even though Archie (KJ Apa) stopped him.
– The Ghoulies, who one of our Riverdale After Dark hosts insists on calling cannibals even though they’re clearly not, are mixing things up.
– Penny peabody (Brit Morgan) is back, and that’s bad news for everyone. Mostly Jughead (Cole Sprouse) though.
…And that’s to say nothing of the big cliffhangers from the last episode. Is Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) okay? Is Betty (Lili Reinhart) about to find out her father Hal is the Black Hood? And hold up, is Toni Topaz (Vanessa Morgan) being held hostage, meaning we’re going to get another episode without any Choni goodness?
