‘Legion’: Let’s Speculate Wildly About “Chapter 11”

Tonight finally sees the return of FX’s Legion to our televisions, after a long terrible week where it wasn’t broadcasting. And even if we won’t see Syd (Rachel Keller) dancing on this week’s episode, titled “Chapter 11,” there’s a lot we can still look forward to.

That said, Legion is one of the most intricately constructed shows on TV, so guessing what will happen next is like is nearly impossible. Not totally impossible, though! And we’ve got four new images from tonight’s episode, which we can use to speculate wildly.

The Shadow King Is Going To Retire

It’s only been an episode since we were introduced to Navid Negahban as Amahl Farouk, but if this picture is any indication he’s going to give up looking for his body. Instead, he’ll retire to someplace warm and sip tropical drinks for the rest of his mind-days. That should be good news for the Mi-Go Monk!

David Will Consider Buying A Time Share

It would be absolutely ridiculous to expect that David would retire at such a young age, but given it looks like he’s in the same scene as Farouk, he’s probably considering buying a time share in Florida, right?

Clark Gets Frustrated He Missed Out On That Time Share

After hearing what David has been up to, Clark gets extremely mad that he lost out on such a great deal. He loves the sunshine, and was thinking it would be nice to have a place to get away. But David and Farouk never asked him. How rude!

Melanie Stops Getting High For Like, One F**king Second

Thank god, Jean Smart is excellent on the show, and watching Melanie fall so hard has been devastating. Hope she can still get in on that time share!

(Honestly, I have no idea what any of this means, we’ll all just have to watch and find out).

Here’s the official description of the show from FX:

Legion follows the story of “David Haller,” a man who believed he was schizophrenic but discovered he might be the most powerful mutant in the world. With help from a team of specialists, David harnessed his unique abilities and learned he’d been haunted by a malicious parasite. Now, David is all that stands in the way of “Amahl Farouk” from attaining infinite and world-ending power.
